Elevator rope selection criteria:
Traction rope
-Low speed elevator rope---running speed 2.0m/S
8x19S-NFC---Sisal fiber rope core 8 strands, high breaking load, small elastic extension, low installation requirements, suitable for all wheel groove groove shapes.
9X19S-IWRC---Very good fatigue resistance, very high breaking load, very low residual elongation, easy installation.
Recommended for round grooves with chamfer ≤ 85°.
-Medium speed elevator ropes - running speed 3.0m/s
8x19S-IWRC --- Rope core is a perfect combination of inner steel wire strands and polypropylene core, 9-strand construction, individual strands, excellent fatigue resistance, very high breaking load, very low elongation; pusher for use on semi-circular sheaves, V-shaped sheaves or circular sheaves with chamfered corners.
Diameter range: 8.0mm-19mm.
Speed Limiter Rope
Polypropylene fiber core 6 strand, 8 strand Silu style for speed limiter rope applications with special requirements for elongation and corrosion resistance.
